Remember, Remember, Remember...

Our Country's Solemn Charge

When Her People tremble in wonder

While Her Flag is lowered and somber

"Remember the Alamo!" was Her cry

Over many who fought and died

"Remember the Alamo!" was the prayer near and far

As Texas bled 'neath one Lone Star

"Remember Pearl Harbor!" was Her plea

In Waking the Giant from its sleep

"Remember Pearl Harbor" from sea to sea

A Day which ever lives in Infamy

"Never Forget 9/11!" she warned

The fallen towers and families torn

A Nation changed, a Nation at War

Never Forget what we're in this for

Then a decade later, the President said

The one we pursued, finally is dead

Remember 9/11, Remember those lost

Our flag waves Red to remind US the cost.

"Who is this guy?"

Pastor Mike I've been married to Marie, the love of my life, since 2000 and we have three children together. We seek to minister God's love and grace to both the unbeliever who needs salvation, and the believer who needs to be refreshed in his faith. I was encouraged by a hero of mine, my dear cousin Jared Munson, to "Blog" my thoughts, and so it is to him that this portion of is dedicated. Enjoy the arguments, exhortations and encouragement!
